34th Annual Austin Marathon

The Austin Marathon Gives program connects non-profit organizations to passionate race participants willing to fundraise and raise awareness for causes that give back to our local community. Individuals can select one of our Official Charities to run with and add even more meaning to their training and race day miles by supporting a worthy cause.

Step-by-step fundraising guide:

  1. Visit the team page to register under the Gray for Glio run team

  2. Visit the 34th Annual Austin Marathon Gives official fundraising page on GivenGain or use the “Search” option to locate the event page.

  3. Click on the blue “Start fundraising” button to register a fundraising project with your email address or Facebook login.

  4. Once you have logged in, use the search bar to find our charity (gray for glioblastoma) and then click “SELECT”. Once you have selected our charity, your project will be created. Your page will be in draft mode. Be sure to add your header image, story text, and campaign goal.

  5. Once content has been added, make it live by clicking the yellow “Make it live” button at the button of your page. All funds raised will go directly to your selected charities, even if you don’t reach your fundraising goal!

  6. Share your fundraising project link with friends and family via e-mail and social media, asking them for donations.
